This time of the year I'm always busy making gifts for friends. This is was a birthday present for a sweet friend who loves angels. Wall sconce - lasercut wood, paint effect, copperleaf and charcoal drawings.

Well my mom's 70th birthday gift is finally complete! It took me over a month to do, obviously not my usual subject matter... But I don't think my mother would fancy a painting of a man on her lounge wall...

Wedding portrait

This was an interesting project for me. It's an oil painting of one of my best friends Boo on her wedding day. It was commissioned by a friend. I made the dress for her & ended up having to paint it too! Doesn't get any more full circle than that!!

Work in progress

Occasionally I have to break from drawing beautiful men and draw a couple of water nymphs for someone on commission... Oh well!

Part of my effort to create "green" art. Papier mache casts get made from a plasticine sculpture. I will post the progression of these soon. I've done this frontal view, a back view and will start on a chest/torso soon.
